Why dilute?
Our serums are supplied in concentrated form. Dilution helps you tailor the strength and texture, make each vial go further, and reduce concentrate costs per application. Use a compatible base and follow the preparation guidance below.
Prepare each selected concentrate using a compatible base and your formulation protocol. The table below shows amounts for one concentrate, not instructions to combine all seven vials into one blend.
Dilution at a glance
The standard preparation range is 10–20% concentrate in the finished blend. Choose the strength and compatible base for your formulation protocol.
| Final blend | 10 mL batch | Using one 15 mL vial |
|---|---|---|
| 20% concentrate | 2 mL concentrate + 8 mL base | 15 mL concentrate + 60 mL base = 75 mL |
| 10% concentrate | 1 mL concentrate + 9 mL base | 15 mL concentrate + 135 mL base = 150 mL |
These percentages describe the bottled concentrate as a share of the finished blend, not the percentage of pure botanical ingredient.
Choose a compatible base
APSTEM, Collagen XG+, Elastin FL+, Senescence 75+, and Rejuv Xue Cao: Workshop materials discuss hyaluronic acid, vegetable glycerin, and purified water as blending mediums. Select the texture and base within a compatible, verified cosmetic formulation.
Oculus InfraOrbital and Lumos Brighten: Use a suitable water- or glycerin-based formulation without hyaluronic acid. Do not mix either concentrate with hyaluronic acid or any HA-containing serum, including other concentrates in this collection that list HA; the mixture can clump. Do not apply Oculus or Lumos undiluted.
Application guidance
Follow the practitioner-selected skincare plan for the finished formulation. Apply Oculus around the orbital area, avoiding the eyelids, lash line, and eyes. Keep Lumos away from the eye area and include daily broad-spectrum sun protection; Lumos is not a sunscreen. For Rejuv aftercare, follow the treating practitioner's instructions for preparation, application, and timing.
Prepare with care
- Use clean hands, a sanitized work area, and clean measuring tools and containers. Measure accurately and mix thoroughly.
- Use a compatible cosmetic base and a verified formulation protocol. Adding water or other ingredients changes preservation and stability; a dilution ratio alone does not establish a safe shelf life.
- Keep the original vial tightly closed. Follow its label for storage and expiry. Do not assign the original expiry date to a diluted or blended product without appropriate formulation testing.
Care & precautions
- For external topical use. Do not ingest.
- Patch test the finished formulation on a small area before wider use. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Stop use if irritation occurs.
- Use professional judgment when selecting the formulation, application method, and timing for each client.
- Use caution during pregnancy and seek appropriate professional guidance before use. Check the complete ingredient list for known sensitivities.
Individual experiences vary. This cosmetic product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.
